Topic: Irradiance Maps: Relatively speaking.
posted by YOYOGRAPHICS
archived on 1.5.2002
When using a pre-computed irradience map from a file, what items in the GI rollout are made irrelevant?
Follow-ups
A: About the only relevant parameter is the number of Interpolation samples.
Q: Are lights also made irrelevant?
A: No, normal lights are computed separately from the GI. Only VRayLights that had the "Save with irradiance map" option turned on will be saved with the map.
