If i just quickly needed a black background with a white window id like to use an HDRI ill create my white shapes in After Effects on a black background, i just do a quick opacity of the shapes from 0-100% and a quick output to tga files. In HDRI shop ill import them as a sequence and each will be used as a different exposure. Output from HDRI Shop and enjoy in max.
A use for this will be creating a photography studio where backgrounds are generally black with the softbox lights being the only light. If you just try using a TGA of a black background and white box as an light source in your scene. remember that when you increase the light amount from that image that your black will turn to grey when you increase the amount. By creating the hdri of this your blacks will remain black and the white area will be the only part that will change.
