Topic: Matching physical shutter angle to VRay motion blur duration
posted by Torgeir Holm
archived on 22.10.2004
For matching motion blur in images from film cameras based on the shutter angle of the camera. Use this calculator to find the corresponding value to enter in VRay's camera rollout. This will give you the correct blur length. Interval center and bias should be matched by eye.
The formula is very simple: Duration = Shutter angle / 360°
